Clear those obstacles and allow abundance into your life

Someone once asked Charles Fillmore (a contemporary of Mr. Wattles and the author of the book, Prosperity, among others) what he believed to be the greatest obstacle to prosperity for most people. He answered without a moment’s hesitation. “Clutter,” he said. So, it is very clear and true evidence that you must clear those unwanted stuffs that are blocking your way to allow abundance and plenty to rush into your life.

Let go of what you are not really using (it can be a person, place or thing), if you are still holding on to anyone of this, you are really telling yourself that you don’t own that thing, you don’t deserve it, and you do not believe you can recreate it in the future. These are all poverty thought.

Clean out your closets, your garage, car porch, backyard, living room, kitchen etc and look for anything that you are not really using for the past 18 month. Have a garage sale, give it all to any charitable organization or you can give them to family, friends, neighbors, local thrift shops or other worthy organizations.

When we don’t clear away the old, we don’t make room for the new. And when we are hampered by clutter in our physical surroundings, there is definitely clutter going on in our thinking as well, because as we have learned, EVERYTHING begins in that formless realm of thought and only then moves into physical form.

The objective is to rescue these things from simply taking up space and energy in your life and environment and to release back into circulation where they can regain value by being of use. This way you let go of all that spiritual cholesterol that is clogging your arteries of good.

Remember that when circulation and flow stop, stagnation sets in? And that ANYTHING can become toxic simply by being in its wrong place or wrong use. As you choose each item, I also encourage and invite you to take a moment to acknowledge with gratitude what you’ve received from your possession and use of each item. And then, if you’re so inclined, bless it with your best wishes for whom ever will next receive and benefit from it.
